About The Artist

My Grandmother, at 98 continues to be my greatest inspiration. She taught me very early on that “variety is the spice of life.” This notion has given me comfort in the pursuit of the various careers I’ve chosen, from human services, to the gourmet food industry, to printing and graphic design. However, I always felt destined to work with my hands to create beautiful artwork.

One fine day working in my office, an idea just came to me, and I walked out to the garden. I collected some botanical samples and arranged them on my scanneranxious to see the results. After viewing the image, I knew immediately this was an art form I wanted to pursue wholeheartedly. Our home with its beautiful perennial gardens, and a family camp in the Adirondacks with gardens and acres of forest became my palette. There was always something new in bloom, and I found I had a knack for creating elaborate arrangements from each growing season. We add new and unique botanicals each year to the garden. I enjoy creating a wide range of designs, using bright floras or elegant roses tomore rustic arrangements with wild flowers, birch bark and pinecones.

My hobby lead to the creation of Earthy Originals TM in 2001. My artwork is an original idea whichI've developed over the years, finding inspiration from the wonderful vitality of nature.I have been honored to participate in some of the finest arts and craft shows in the Northeast, and continue to enjoy creating a wide array of products to beautify your surroundings.

I feel fortunate to be able to combine my experience and passion for gardening and graphic design to create Artwork that Blossoms. I’m grateful to my friends and family for encouraging my aspirations, and to my valued customers for their enthusiasm about my work. I’m thankful to all artisans past and present for making life aesthetically pleasing for all of us.
